1. Oatmeal upma – This is a quick, healthy and stomach full breakfast recipe.Ingredients: All you need to make this delicious dish is –
- Oats
- Water
- Vegetables of your choice
- A mix of daals
- Oil
- Mustard seeds
- Salt
Method:
- Dry roast the oats till they are crisp
- Heat oil in pan and add the mustard seeds and vegetables to it
- Once the vegetables are done, add the roasted oats
- Pour water in the pan and add salt and turmeric
- Cover the pan and let the oats cook

- Milk
- Fruits
- Dry fruits
Method: Soak the oats in the milk at night and refrigerate this mix overnight. You can add the fruits and dry fruits on top to make it more delicious and nutrient rich.
3. Vegetable oats porridge – This sugar-free porridge recipe is easy to make, tasty and full of vitamins and minerals.Ingredients:
- Vegetables like chopped carrots, green peas and coriander
- Oats
- Water
- Salt
- Black pepper
Method:
- Dry roast the oats in a pressure cooker till they are crisp
- Add the vegetables to the dry roasted oats
- Pour water and add salt & black pepper
- Close the lid and pressure cook this mixture for 1-2 whistles
- Once the lid of the cooker opens, serve the porridge with some seasoning of your choice

- In a blender ground the oats to a fine powder
- Add baking powder and a pinch of salt to this fine powder and mix well
