Upon payment of additional premium, pet insurance coverage may be extended to cover the pets for business, occupational, or professional uses. However, this will not be available for those pets who are engaged in any hazardous activity/sports or hunting. 

Here’s a quick step-by-step guide to make your pet insurance claim process easier and hassle-free:

1. In case of any adversity concerning that involves your pet, intimate the insurer within 24 hours.
2. Register your pet insurance claim, drop an email at bagichelp@bajajallianz.co.in, or give us a call on our toll-free number 1800 202 5858.
   
3. A customer support executive will reach out and collect all important information to register a pet insurance claim.
4. The customer should fill out the claim form and email it along with other documents. Alternatively, the customer can also upload the same on the official website or Bajaj Allianz General Insurance mobile application.
5. In case further information or any other document is required, a representative from the insurer may reach out.
6. The concerned team evaluates the admissibility of the claim for the insurance of the pet.
7. If the claim is approved an NEFT form is shared with the customer.
8. Once the customer provides the updated NEFT form, the payment for pet insurance claims is processed.

• Duly filled pet insurance proposal form
• Diagnostics test result in case the customer chooses PIN cover. This will be effective from the succeeding day
• Description/details about the unique pet and that help to identify the pet
• A self-declaration on timely vaccination of the insured pet
• If the sum insured above the maximum price is as per the pricing matrix opted by the insured, a purchase proof is required
• If the customer has selected the pet of pedigree lineage, a pedigree certificate is required
