Nonetheless, some people face difficulties when it comes to buying a brand new bike and end up disappointed at times. However, you always have the option of buying a used bike. Many people avoid buying a second-hand bike as they don’t trust the process. To solve this problem, make sure that you purchase it from a recognized and trustworthy dealer. But before buying, research well and check whether it is a good condition and if it has bike insurance as well. 1. Select a bike basis your requirements

First and foremost, you need to know what you want. Note down your requirements and the type of bike you’re looking for. Is it a regular two-wheeler that you’ll use to travel to and from the office or is it a sports bike from your wish list? Purchase accordingly and don’t just buy for the sake of it.

2. Select an appropriate seller

This is an important step. You can choose between a private owner and a dealer. Since you’re purchasing a used bike, you need to be extra careful with the entire buying process to not regret later. Always make sure that you purchase your vehicle from a reputed and trusted dealer. This way, you ensure that you are getting a quality model. If you opt for a private owner, you might save on the money aspect but you cannot be sure if the bike has been inspected and vetted carefully. 3. Inspect the vehicle thoroughly

Inspect the bike of your choice carefully before purchasing. Look at the various parts such as drive chain, sprockets, piston, as well as external damage such as dents, chipped paint, etc. Also, inspect the fuel tank to check if it’s in good shape or if it shows signs of rust, check the tyres for wear and tear, etc. Moreover, check the steering to see it works smoothly. Once the test drive is done and you’re happy with the bike, the next step would be to check if they are also ready to transfer the two wheeler insurance. If yes, do the needful as soon as possible.
