Fact: There could be various reasons contributing to an individual's mental health conditions. It could be unemployment, a financial crisis, a failed relationship, exposure to violence, and much more. A healthy and positive environment remains imperative for every individual and their overall development. Myth: Mental health issues are permanent. Fact: The experience with a mental health condition for every person is different. Some people may experience episodes wherein they return to the version of being normal. Others may look for medication or take professional therapies which help to restore balance to one's life. The journey to recovery may take time, but; positive changes can keep happening along the way.

How to Maintain Positive Mental Health?

Some of the common ways to maintain mental well-being are:

  3. Writing journal
  4. Meeting friends and family
  5. Remain physically active, do exercise regularly, and follow a routine
  6. Stay focused and practice empathy
