International Women’s Day – Celebrating the Virtue of Caring

It is the dedication and collective movement of women & men all over the world that has brought the change and helped so many women to rise and shine. International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 08 every year, is the celebration of womanhood and their courage to excel in every genre of life. The theme for International Women’s Day 2019 is “think equal, build smart, innovate for change”. The voices of many women have been heard and acknowledged, however, there are still many who are yet to have this experience. Thus, this year’s theme aims to focus on gender equality and empowerment of women all over the world. This being said, let’s not forget the strengths that women inherently possess. A woman is an epitome of support, courage, beauty, grit, determination, grace, prudence and most of all care. Looking after and providing for the needs of their near and dear ones is an intrinsic quality that all women have.
