With the Pune RTO being the governing body for the vehicles in Pune and Baramati, these are the services which you can avail:
1. Licence application
To drive a vehicle in Pune, you need to have a valid licence for the vehicle. If you have turned 16, you can apply for a learner’s licence for a two-wheeler with gear or for a four-wheeler at the RTO in Pune. You can apply for a driver’s licence for two-wheeler without gear, and for an electric two-wheeler up to a certain speed limit, as they do not require a learner’s licence. If you have turned 18, you can apply for a driver’s licence for a geared two-wheeler as well as for a four-wheeler. Renewal also happens at the RTO.
2. Registration application
If you have recently purchased a vehicle, you are required to get it registered with the RTO office in Pune. After the submission of the required documents, and the payment of tax and other fees, your vehicle will be registered with the Pune RTO. If you have recently shifted to Pune, you need to re-register your vehicle with the Pune RTO.
3. Permit application
