As per the rules and regulations of the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988, an RTO is expected to provide several services to the citizens of the administrative region. With that context, here are some services you can avail of at an RTO in Surat:
1. Services related to the driving license, such as:
- Issuing the Learner’s Licence (LL), Driving Licence (DL), and International Driving Permit (IDP) after conducting tests for the same.
- Carrying out updates and corrections in the licence/s (except the IDP).
- Renewing the Learner’s Licence and Driving Licence.
- Providing duplicate copies of the LL and the DL in case of loss or damage of the original.
